The exclusive Gold Mountain Ranch sits high in the cliffs above Ouray, beyond locked gates, making it inaccessible to the general public. Ride historic mining trails on our Ouray Overlook Ride.

Because of its remote location, this adventure begins at the Action Adventures Ouray Stable. From there we will take you via 4×4 tour truck, or side by side, to our remote stable.  Unforgettable views of Ouray and Ridgway and the mountains that encompass them will not disappoint.

The Ouray Overlook Ride offers views from the Grand Mesa to the North all of the way to the Red Mountains in the South, with Yankee Boy Basin and the Blowout in between. Valley views to Ridgway and the Lookout above Ouray will leave you amazed and wondering how you got way up there.

This 4×4 tour, horseback adventure is about 2 hours and 40 minutes round trip.
