A. This is a question we get regularly and it really has no easy answer. We set our weight limit at 235 pounds, but body proportions and ability are the true indicator. Someone that is 235 and 6′ that will sit up and ride a horse doesn’t concern me. On the other hand someone that is 235 and 4’8″ and sloshes around in the saddle is going to injure a horse real quick. We don’t have a scale and we won’t weigh you, but if you show up with more waddle than walk we will turn you away.
A. 5+ years old – 1 hour
7+ years old – 2 hour
11+ years old – 4 hour and wilderness trips.
We do require 12 and below to wear provided helmets.
A. No! Every rider gets their own horse. Young riders will be lead by a guide until they get the feel for it.
